Born in Taiwan and raised in NZ, Mish is a prolific painter and tattoo artist whos work focuses on narrative driven dark fantasy and classical art. After working as a full time painter and finishing his contract at Weta digital, he found himself apprenticing at a local tattoo studio out of curiosity. During that time he was completely absorbed by tattooing, and has since worked with some of the most renowned studios in NZ, Europe, Canada and Asia, as well as participating in and judging many international tattoo conventions.

Mish loves to spend his free time in his studio painting, drawing, and studying the art of the old masters. When not making art Mish is most likely buying more video games on Steam sales and adding to his already massive backlog, stressing over the fact that there’s too many games to play.

Mish believes to make great art you need to be a great story teller. His goal is to collaborate with you and bring your story to life in your next tattoo.
